Parbold is a fantastic small village located in the Southwest area of
Lancashire (West Lancs) surrounded by stunning countryside and canals and rivers.
The village has direct train links (station: 5 min walk) to Southport,
Burscough, Wigan, Bolton, Salford & Manchester, with connections to Liverpool, Preston and Blackpool. It is also ideally located for
Edge Hill University
and local hospitals including

We loved our stay at Angela's house. The area is so beautiful and Angela was such a wonderful host. She made sure to find out the ages of all the children and left books on their beds that she thought they would like. There was so many personal touches that made it such a warm welcome for us and really made us feel at home. Would definitely recommend. A wonderful host and a lovely place to stay 👌

First references of Parbold appear in the late 12th century in the documents of Burscough Priory. Over the years the village has grown and new developments added however the past is still visable throughout the village and surrounding areas.
